I love this spot! Been going here for YEARS! I grew tired of the same ol "orange chicken" when I realized they also have special item on the menu I went BONKERS! Totally in love with the shrimp kung pow! Holy moly that stuffs GOOD!
If you are looking for a place with good, delicious and reasonably priced food, this is the place to go. Servings are enough for lunch and leftovers for dinner. Will come back again.
It is another type of Panda Express, but in my opinion it's better. They have some different options from panda as well as orange chicken of course. They also give you way bigger portions at panda bowl. Overall a solid quick service restaurant
Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with this place. We paid $45 for the family meal which came with 3 entrees, 2 cartons of noodles, 2 of fried rice, 6 egg rolls, a pack of almond cookies and fortune cookies of course. The chow mein and orange chicken was my favorite. I wasn't too impressed with the entree selections but we opted to try the mushroom chicken. **Heads up be careful it has bones in some of the pieces..not sure if it's supposed to or not. Overall, we enjoyed it definitely more than Panda Express and will be back.
Great portions and delicious food! Hard to find now a days. I highly recommend coming here to feed the family. Place is always very clean and fast service.
Been coming here about for 20yrs. Perfect fast casual Chinese food. Use to go the sister restaurant in North Hills when I lived in the valley as well. Family ran company. Food is always good and fresh. The noodles are awesome along with my faves; Bbq pork and Spicy chicken. Price for amount and quality can't be beat.
Ordered some take out from here today for a late lunch. I got the combo B, with rice and chow Mein with orange chicken and mushroom chicken. The orange chicken was okay, it was supposed to be spicy, but it was not spicy at all. The mushroom chicken was really good, reminded me of Panda Express mushroom chicken! The chow Mein was decent but I really liked the rice, it also reminded me of Panda Express fried rice. I also got some chicken egg rolls! Those were very good! My family got a side of the bbq pork, which in my opinion was really good! I will definitely eat here again but probably try more of the other meat choices instead.
5 stars because I've been going for the last 20 years. That is crazy to type out, but it's true! No frills to-go Chinese food. Yummy and cheap. Large portions. It's truly a guilty pleasure. Check this place out and you'll never go back to Panda Express. Once again, it's not a fancy joint. It's exactly what I want when I want cheap and quick Chinese food. I've never had a bad experience here. A true Simi institution.
BBQ chicken bowl is my go to, but they will make you whatever you want. I have ordered made to Order shrimp many times and it is great. The owner is kind and the food is great. Best chow mein! You also cannot beat the price for the amount of food you get. If I get a plate, I can turn it into two to three meals easy.
